Love in a Box Appeal 2010

In the run up to Christmas, First Presbyterian Church Donaghadee supported the 'Love in a Box' Appeal' in association with Blytheswood Care.  101 covered shoe boxes (an increase on last year), 50 anoraks and warm hooded tops (50% more than last year, 20+ knitted rugs, extra clothing, knitted, crocheted and purchased were handed over to the Blytheswood staff on 26 October. On top of this there was 360 pounds donated towards the transports of the donations! 

Thank you to everyone for your generous support!  It was truly overwhleming!  These gifts and boxes are much appreciated by the people who receive them.  Hopefully, they will bring them much pleasure and happiness this Christmas.
